The pattern below can be used as a structure for daily prayer. It owes it's origins to the Celtic patterns of prayer emanating from the North East of England. |

| Preparation
for Prayer I weave a
silence on to my lips, Calm me, O Lord as you stilled the storm. Enfold me, Lord, in your peace. |
Praise
and Adoration Select
one of the following psalms to lead into a moment of quiet reflecting on who God is, and
what he has done : Confession : (spend a moment reflecting on the things that you want to say "sorry" to God for.) Father I have sinned. I have fallen short of what you want in my life. I am sorry. I turn to you again, and am reassured by your forgiveness. Please help me to uphold your will for my life, day by day. Amen.

of Scripture Seek the Lord while he may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. (Isaiah 55.6) Jesus said ""Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me." (John 14:1) Use alternative scripture passages to give variety.
